Gameplay[]

(adding keywords for now, more info will be added as I continue to revamp this whole thing)

Old Mechanics[]

  • Returning Quest type: Repelling
    • Prepare for epic repelling quests; add and upgrade your town defense weapons and recruite NPC's to station them in order to repell large monsters that are threatening your village!
  • Take NPC Hunters along your quests

New Features[]

    • Shop can be upgraded and decorated and refined
    • Food/Restaurant - coffee shop with cats as employees
    • Food buff mini game
      • User has to create and combine cakes and drinks in order to gain a hunting skill with food.

In-game Virus Mechanic

  • Sanguine Moon Disease (Jap.:Red Moon Dragon Virus 赤月龍ウイルス)
  • Virus that increases its reproduction rate right before the red moon phase and befalls monsters. Monsters infected with that bacteria go into rampages/frenzy because of hypermetabolism and pain. Creatures with the bacteria are forced to hunt or they die from starvation or shock from the pain (body parts alter/change on the creatures, bacteria force hypertrophy - similar to zeniths/deviants mechanic). The bacteria befalls only monsters and wild life. While the player progresses through the game he finds out the bacteria was a weapon used from the ancient civilization as a last resort against the elder dragons and other monsters. After the great elder dragon war the bacteria vanquished and got lost from history. A single monster though wandered with the bacteria off into an ice area and froze with it in its system. Due to human exploration the monster corpse and the bacteria was found and brought back to the guild from where it then started to become active again (the bacteria responds to dragon/monster blood) and spreads. The bacteria spread through water, air and contact.
  • Keyword: Transmute - exam.: Transmuted Tigrex (Mutated Claw, Mutated Skull, Mutated Fang)

Strike Reward mechanic Some of these mechanics get unlocked after talking to certain NPC and doing a special Quest.

  • First Strike:Rewards the User who reaches the Monster first and deals the first damage to it. May result in an extra item (Either raise percentage of certain item carve or get an additional item)
    • Unlocked after Hunting a swift monster with fast movements
  • Final Strike:Rewards the User for dealing the finishing blow to a monster (mission target). May increase percentage of item carve or allow additional carve.
    • Unlocked after hunting a monster with a unique power move
  • Damage Sponge:Rewards user extra potions or higher grade potion at the end of a mission when having been dealt the most damage during the hunt.
    • Unlocked after hunting a monster with a lot of HP (HP/Rank Class counted)
