So after watching the gameplay from Gamescon, someone linked me interesting links here and there and I was able to gather some summaries from day 1 of what we got so far.(The summary shared here was obtain from reddit)
And also
From my understanding and from what I think I heard understood correct is that now every weapon has a guard point and a special counter attack animation like we saw with the Lance gameplay. Which would be pretty amazing.
Also the AI from the NPC hunters that you can "summon" with the SOS flare are way more developed than what we got in MH Rise/Sunbreak. Which I already hoped and speculated will seem to be a MH feature that will stay with us for a while if not become a staple mechanic from now on forwards. I could also lead perhaps to a path sooner or later where we can fully customize these helping hunters with equipment and weapons of our own choice, similar to what we had in MH Frontier.
The 3D map is also a nice overlay improvement, hopefully it will now become easier to find things on the map, as there are a few hunters out there that have been or still are struggling with scoutflies.
Something that personally got me excited was the set bonus skills and how they explained it. It could lead down to an idea that i wrote ages ago, where armors have initial set bonuses like "Leviathan" or "Jungle" set bonus and getting armors who share the same bonus amplifies that one certain skill.
with that set bonus system in mind we could create a complete new way of armor creation and getting even more into details when creating specific armors. It could also lead to various new skills specified to the set bonus mechanic where there is a skill, that is similar to what we had from our MH Generations/Ultimate Endboss Ahtal-Ka, that goes with the effect of like: Add +1 skill point to set bonus skill on current armor.
We also got to see some new monster such as Lala Barina and Rey Dau.
Got to see some other new monster. the Mosquito named Bulaqchi.
And also the baby Seikret, which looks like a baby Chocobo.
We also did get to see a purple Seikret in the trailer, so perhaps we'll be able to customize them like we did with out Palamutes in MH Rise/Sunbreak. It would be odd though if we couldn't do that tbh. Maybe we'll get event quest that allow us to get alternative looks for our rides. Perhaps the FF crossover quest with Bahamut could give us Chocobo looks for our Seikret?)
Anyways, was really nice to see all this new infos and stuff. Guess I'll be watching MH Wilds streaming content while I wait for more MH Wilds news.
